What's in my makeup bag!

I am a simple girl! or i would like to think so. I just wanted to share with you what I carry in my makeup bag! because i like to look at what everybody else carries in their makeup bag! I'm nosy!  Here are what I ALWAYS have with me! of course there is always new lipsticks here and there making an appearance.

The only color I wear

Another beauty post you guys!  I promise I'm coming soon with an outfit post! but for today I wanted to share "the only color I wear" meaning Makeup!! I used to experiment with makeup a lot. Now I'm all about simplifying my life! I will go in to that on another post. Here are the things I think it's key items in your makeup bag.

OOOOOOOOkay 3 out of 4 is lip product, oops.

1, Mac Velvet Teddy Lipstick I'm pretty sure this is an online item, so don't write it down and head to the mall! order now!! This is the most flattering perfect nude you guys. don't hesitate just do it!

2, Nars Audatious Sandra This might be un intimidated color for some of you. I have a medium skin with olive undertone. and this lipstick is a brick red which is kind of brown. But boy oh boy I LOVE THIS RED! It's very different from what I have in my collection of reds. I like that it's not in your face red.

3, Nars Bahama This is the newest item in my makeup collection, and loving lots! It's one of those 90's kylie Jenner colors. There is not much to say about this, try! the formula of these velvet matte pencils are THE BEST!!!

4, MAC Uninterrupted shadow This has become the only shadow I wear! it doesn't look much in the pot, bit uhhhhhh it is so perfect! I lightly dust this on the crease and I call it a day my friends. so natural so perfect!

Foundations

Do you love makeup as much as I do? Makeup is just one of those things that I just cant seem to stop buying!!!!  its so bad you guys! and Youtube is my biggest enabler. I'm going to keep doing these series reviewing on all the beauty products I have ever tried!! muahaha its going to be a lot.
That being said today is foundation!
Here is what I look for in a foundation. I don't like full coverage meaning thick foundation such as MAC studio fix fluid yuck. I like a slight glow to my skin, so no matte finish. And I like to apply with a brush, I just don't like fingers.

1, Nars Sheer Glow  For me this is a really good everyday option. But you have to be careful, it is not sheer! its more of a medium coverage and my skin looks "real" if you know what I mean. If you haven't tried this yet I highly recommend you getting a sample from Sephora! lets not forget about the color! I am in the color Stromboli and its perfect! They carry both pink and yellow undertones.

2, Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream This is something I wear when I don't wear makeup. You see how that doesn't make sense? I don't wear moisturizers with SPF so if I go outside I need to put on something right? but I don't do anything else to my face.  I feel that it gives enough coverage to just even out my skin tone and I don't find that I get too oily through the day.

3, Chanel Perfection Lumier I don't completely love this yet! its a little matte for me but it leaves my skin well lets say perfect? not full coverage in my opinion, it leaves it velvety. I feel that I need to use a heavy moisturizer before so it doesn't look too matte. if you are in to that try!

4, YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat This is my all time fav you guys. This is hands down the most beautiful thing you can put on your skin!!!haha  It gives me the nicest glow without being oily. I use this on special occasions when I want to look a little more natural.

5, Estee Lauder Double Wear If you are looking for a flawless foundation look no more! The cult favorite totally deserves all the hype. I wear this when I take pictures or special occasions. You just have to try this on your own! For me this is medium to full coverage but it still looks like my real skin which is really important to me. and it doesn't feel cakey.

Moisturizers yall



I turned 26 years old last year, I know I know that's still young! nobody is saying that that's old. I live in Utah which is the driest state here in the US. My skin just hasn't been the same! Before I could get away with not wearing a moisturizer after washing my face! I thank my Asian Hispanic good skin gene to that.  I would say my skin is combination of dry with oily T zone. But before until last year my skin was more like normal skin, meaning no dryness just some normal oil on the T zone area.
Well that is not the case anymore! I feel my skin is way dry now! is it the aging? too much dryness can be bad for your skin, it can cause wrinkles! Although my mom didn't have much wrinkles! I do practice resting bitch face on pictures but in my daily life I can be pretty expressive with my facial expressions.

I have been trying different moisturizers since last year because of my dry face. At this point I don't care about my t zone! lets just get to the point! I found my favorite! who knows it might change tomorrow or next month but at this moment I am happy with what I have found.
these are the list of things I tried and my thoughts on them! hope you find it helpful! If you have any question don't hesitate to ask me! I would love to help my ladies or gents out there!

1, Hope in a jar this I find to be absolute crap. it smells nasty in my opinion and doesn't do anything! The name makes it sound hopeful right? well.. it was not for me! Next!

2, Tarte Maracuja oil Its all about the oil lately. I have this for 2 years! so it lasts for a really long time. I use this under my moisturizer at night only. I do feel like it helps! its one of those things you do just for the hell of it. But I haven't had any problems with it. I wouldn't say its a miracle oil but its worth a try!

3, Embryolisse lait-Creme Concentre  THIS IS IT!!!!!!! you guys! my hg product at the moment! This has been around for decades for a reason! and its French! not hat it matters. haha for day time I use this lightly and at night I lather my face and neck in this! sooooo good! its great under makeup and it has a nice clean scent. please try this! if you are skeptical there is a smaller size!

4, Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream That's a mouth full! I have had high hopes for this guy. Good thing I only got the smaller size! I wouldn't say it was bad but it just didn't moisturize enough. it smells super good! this might be better in the summer time since its light.

5, Nars Restorative Night Treatment This was alright. Its a funny product tho, its like jelly oil. I do feel like sometimes it just sits on my face and my skin doesn't drink it up like my embryolisse. And it is pretty pricey! But Nars is my fav so I tried. I would use it until its gone but I'm not drying over it.

I don't know if you noticed but I don't like SPF in my moisturizers. If you are anything like me some days I don't get out of the house. Therefor I don't need SPF. I wear foundation that has SPF so I'm not worried about it. I just hate SPF, its so gross!

I hope I didn't rant too too much! I am a beauty junky and LOVE trying different thing. I hope to come with more posts like this one!

What I want to try next is...Kate Somerville Goat milk cream, and La Mer.
